Our highly qualified experts develop and operate test systems for qualifying wheels, tyres, wheel bearings, drive flange hubs and brake discs.
On our flat track tyre test bench, tyres are exactly measured, characterised and parameterised. On the drum test bench we perform endurance tests and cleat tests. AKR test cycles or individual BLNVs are run on the biaxial wheel test bench (ZWARP). Our second ZWARP, the BSP (brake disc test bench), is equipped for testing brake discs and has a much higher performance. It permits you to simulate variable driving speeds and controlled braking torque. The axle drive dynamics test bench (FDAP) is used in our test centre for simulating operational loads under even more realistic conditions in combination with the vehicle axle.
Specially developed test benches like the 'radial' impact test bench (in compliance with AKR specifications), are used for pre-damaging wheels and testing failure behaviour when driving over obstacles or through potholes. Our test bench portfolio also includes two wheel bearing test benches, three rotating bending fatigue test benches for wheels and wheel bearings, a centrifugal test bench (brake discs) and two impact test benches for simulating exceptional and misuse loads.
