Acoustic Test Facility with Ka-module, Eutelsat HotbirdTM 6

In our acoustic laboratory we perform a variety of acoustic tests:

  • Simulation of acoustic loads up to 156 dB in line with ECSS, MIL-STD 810 or customer specifications
  • Anechoic chamber with a test volume of 1,378 m3, noise generation in the frequency range from 30 to 10,000 Hz
  • Acoustic stability investigations up to 172 dB via progressive wave tube in line with MIL-STD or customer specifications
  • Measurement of acoustic pressure distribution, absorption and transmission
  • Sound pressure level and sound power measurements according to ISO 3740 FF or other standards
  • Simulation of combined thermal-acoustic loads
