On 1 October 2013 Dr. Anita Linseisen joined the management team of IABG. She will be responsible for the personnel and legal, as well as for the finance sectors.
Dr. Linseisen strengthens IABG’s existing management that consists of Professor Dr. Rudolf F. Schwarz, who is chairman of the management board, as well as of Mr. Matthias Spott.
In the past, Dr. Linseisen has dedicated herself particularly to the consolidation of the aviation and space technology sector in Bavaria. As a member of the board of Bauhaus Luftfahrt e.V. she was in charge of finances and organisational development. She contributed to the development of Bauhaus Luftfahrt from its beginnings in Garching to an attractive research organisation with improved structures and processes. In addition to that, she was entrusted with the project management of the “Ludwig-Bölkow-Campus” and hereby worked towards an increased interconnection of science and business. She will continue her activity as managing chair of Munich Aerospace on a voluntary basis until their meeting of members in November.
"We welcome Dr. Linseisen to IABG’s management team", adds Professor Dr. Rudolf Schwarz, chairman of the IABG management. "Due to her past activities, Dr. Linseisen specifically recommended herself for this responsible task. We are convinced that Dr. Linseisen, not least based on her extensive experience at the interface of science and business, will be a valuable asset to IABG."
