High altitude chamber

In our drive-in altitude chambers we test vehicles and components for their performance at altitudes and measure exhaust gas emissions in compliance with the standard cycles.

High altitude chamber

    • Rear-wheel drive vehicle: max. 34.000 m³/h, max. 130 km/h
    • Front-wheel drive vehicle: max. 26.000 m³/h, max. 100 km/h

With the exhaust gas roller test bench we can run and evaluate all the international drive cycles on complete vehicles (e.g. NEDC, FTP-75, Japanese JE05 Cycle). The special feature of the facility is that altitudes of 3,800 m above sea level can be simulated (exhaust gas analysis up to 1,600 m) by reducing the ambient pressure.
