Structural Tests

Structural tests are indispensable for the development and certification of aircraft, to guarantee efficient and safe operation in service. IABG’s fatigue and strength testing activities range from entire airframes down to subsystem, component and material level.

Our test spectrum ranges from all categories of civil aircraft up to military fighter jets. The fatigue testing on the new Airbus A380 widebody, and the preparation for the fatigue testing on the Airbus A400M as well as the fatigue tests related to the continued development of the Airbus A320 family are the most recent examples of our performance capability.

In addition to our experimental installations and our computer simulation facilities, we offer our clients the benefit of more than 45 years of experience and the unique combination of experiment and analysis. This makes IABG the Europe-wide leading testing and qualification provider for the aeronautical industry.
