Performance of static loading tests on complete airframes, subsystems and components
- Identification of stress and stress distribution
- Determination of deformations, stiffness, fracture strength and fracture characteristics
- Development of test concepts (position / size of jacks, restrain system, etc.)
- Test planning, engineering
- Design, manufacturing, installation of test rig; load introduction systems (pads, fittings, whiffle trees); dummies (e.g. engine, landing gear, flap track, pylon)
Development of FE-model for test structure
- Development of loading program
- Management of transportation of test structures to the test site
- Support of our customers during final assembling at the test site
- Development and design and installation of hydraulic loading system
- Development and design and installation of pneumatic loading system (i.e. fuselage pressurisation, fuel tank pressurisation, etc.)
- Development and installation of control and monitoring system (high test speed!)
- Development and installation of data acquisition system
- Configuration and installation of measurement sensors (strain gages, deflection transducer, thermo couples, etc.)
- Performance of static measurements, evaluation of results
- Performance of test structure inspection (NDI), damage investigation
- Documentation of all test results
