| The safety of existing nuclear systems is of vital interest to the public. We contribute to the safety of existing and network supporting plants in the areas of radiation protection, environmental monitoring, retrofit consulting, as well as planning and controlling. By means of calculation, measurement, prognosis and in particular the evaluation and application possibilities of environmental monitoring systems - and their operation - object specific retrofitting measures are always selected and used effectively for the protection of the public and the operator.
Radiation protection
- Incident instrumentation for particulate matter/iodine (KTA 1503.2)
- Nuclide-specific measurement systems (KTA 1503.2)
- Operation commencement of sampling systems
- Qualifying of systems by measurement of
- velocity distributions (example)
- particle distributions (example)
- total loss factors (example)
- Calculation of shielding of resulting
- radiation spread
- dose loads
- collective dose estimations
- Calculation of deposits in pipe systems
Environmental monitoring
- Immission measurements
- Development and implementation of measuring concepts
- Development and realization of measuring networks
- Measuring network specific analysis of measuring data
- Immission prognosis
- Calculation of propagation
- Calculation of deposition
- Calculation of resulting dose loads
Consulting
- Appraisals regarding
- Lay-out of nuclear reactor remote monitoring systems [KFÜ]
- Lay-out and connection of measuring devices (measurements by authorities)
- Lay-out and connection of mobile systems to the remote nuclear power plant monitoring (operations and deconstruction)
- Concepts for the implementation of environmental monitoring
(online, sampling and evaluation)
- Lay-out/operation/evaluation of meteorological instrumentation
(integrated into nuclear reactor remote monitoring system [KFÜ])
- Operations commencement and final approval of nuclear reactor monitoring systems
(Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia)
Planning/Controlling
- Planning documents in accordance with §7 and §19 of the German Nuclear Energy Act [AtG]
- Financial controlling
- Utilization of funds record
- Time lines/costing
- Budget planning in advance
- Updating budget planning upon alignment of measures
- Development of controlling instruments as data processing tools
- Project tracking/project cost analyses database
- Reporting/assessment of performance figures
