A geographical information system (GIS) is a computer-supported system for recording, managing, manipulating, analysing, modelling and visualising spatial data. The fields of application and tasks are extremely complex.
In principle, the data collected using photogrammetry is visualised and processed in the GIS. In this way, the individual objects are assigned other attributes, e.g. land parcel numbers, level of sealing, pollution etc. The analytical method used allows the creation of consistent, organised data stock. We operate all marketable systems on a suitable interface, e.g. ArcGIS, MapInfo, MAGELLAN, MicroStation, Intergraph, etc.
Users increasingly work with web-based systems. The software and hardware available allows comprehensive and integrated intranet and/or internet solutions. Geodata can be distributed and marketed economically using this technology. |
