Efficiency, success and acceptance of missions of the German Federal Armed Forces crucially depend on the armament available on-site. Asymmetrical threats, in particular in urban environments, require highly precise, target-optimised weapons, allowing to generate impact from land, air and sea fast and to avoid undesired side effects (collateral damage) at the same time.
We analyse the operational requirements as well as the framework and boundary conditions armament systems are facing. Here we support – among other tasks – the optimisation of armament concepts, weapon operation and mission planning on basis of technical analyses of air-to-surface, air-to-air, surface-to-surface, surface-to-air weapons and energy weapons. Investigations with regard to ranges, sensor performance, effectiveness, target accuracies, survivability, as well as weapon inventory can all be components of these analyses.
