Receipt of application
The simplest and least complicated way is to use our online application form to send your complete application documents for a posted vacant position or as an unsolicited application. In this case you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail immediately after your documents have been transmitted. In the next step, we will check your documents in the human resources department and then forward them to the relevant department. Thank you for your understanding that this process takes a certain time. No matter how we decide, you will receive a response from us as soon as possible.
If your profile fits, we look forward to meeting you in person so that we can get to know each other. This is usually at our headquarters in Ottobrunn. In some cases a telephone interview will be held before the meeting in person. In order to give you a comprehensive picture of IABG and your future range of duties and for us to make as complete a picture as possible of your qualifications, we have a multiphase process with two interviews which will be attended both by members of the specialist department (managers and possibly future colleagues) and by staff from the human resources department. The focus of the first interview is on a detailed description of your previous background and your qualifications. At the same time we will inform you about IABG and possible future projects and specific activities. The aim of the first interview is for both sides to get a personal impression and see whether we come up to our mutual expectations. This is why it is important for us to have a one-on-one dialogue with you and also give you ample time to ask your questions. Usually you will receive a response from us within two weeks of the first interview. If both sides wish to continue the process, we will invite you to a second interview. The second interview concentrates more on interdisciplinary topics and you will have the opportunity of meeting your immediate superior. We will also discuss general conditions, present our employee benefits and answer any further questions you have.
The decision as to whether we can envisage working together in the future we normally make within one or two weeks of the second interview. If we wish to welcome you as a new employee at IABG and you too wish to join us, your appointed HR business partner will get in touch with you personally to discuss the contract details. After you have sent the signed employment contract to us, all further preparations will be made internally to give you a warm welcome on your first day of work with us.

In which form should I apply?
You can apply by post, via email or using our on-line form. We prefer an application via the on-line form on our website, but there are no disadvantages should you decide for another way.
Can I also submit an unsolicited application?
You are interested in working with us, but currently no suitable position is offered? Then we look forward to your unsolicited application.
The most important thing is that you comprehensively present which special knowledge and concrete experiences you can offer and what kind of activity you are interested in.
Due to the broad professional scope of IABG there are good chances that we find a suitable field of operation for you in our enterprise.
How do I complete the on-line application form?
You will find informative texts on every page of the application portal. The sequence in which you fill the form is free, obligatory fields are marked by an asterisk (*). Once you dispatch your application, we are being informed and consider you in the selection process.
You receive appropriate reference and an acknowledgment of receipt from us via the email address you specified.
Can I apply for several positions?
Of course, however, we would ask you to apply separately for each position.
What file types can I upload?
You can upload altogether 5MB in the following file formats: doc, docx, pptx, pdf, bmp, ppt deeply and jpg.
Your uploads will be HTTPS-encoded - thus your data is protected against access by any third party.
Which documents should be contained in my application?
- Cover letter
- Reference to the position for which you apply.
- Concrete tabular CV
- All certificates (school/university training, practical experience and employer references), ideally also relevant practical references.
You could also outline your interests and commitments, e.g. within the cultural, personal, political, musical or sports sphere.
Which browsers are supported?
The E-Recruiting system supports Microsoft Internet Explorer from version 5.5 as well as Firefox from version 2.0.
Should you use other browsers, we cannot ensure impeccable functioning of the system.
The system’s access speed depends on your internet connection.
How long will my data be stored?
Your data is automatically deleted six months after conclusion of the application process.
