On 1 February 2014 Tom Köhler (47) will take over the management of the InfoCom division and the development of the cyber security business at IABG. Köhler succeeds Rudolf Neurath who will retire in April 2014.
Tom Köhler looks back on over 20 years of experience within the information and communication technology sector. He developed his expertise in the context of various management positions with internationally leading ITC manufacturers, among others, at RSA as Head of Public Sector Germany, at Microsoft as Director Information Security Strategy, as well as with VeriSign and SafeNet Inc. as Country Manager for the region Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
Beyond that Köhler is a member of different committees, among them the steering committee of the Munich Security Network and the board of trustees of the renowned Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security in Bochum.
Tom Köhler joins IABG from the Airbus Group. Within the Airbus Defence & Space division he was responsible for the European strategy in a double role as Chief Strategy Officer with Cassidian Cybersecurity and as CEO Germany for the operational business of Cassidian Cybersecurity GmbH.
