Dr. Oliver Kosing takes over as head of IABG's Tests & Analyses department

Effective July 1, 2015 Dr. Oliver Kosing took over the management of IABG’s Tests & Analyses department. In this function, he succeeds the long-time head of department, Wilhelm Pfrang, who had left the company upon reaching retirement age on 31 December 2015.

Dr. Kosing joined IABG on 1 March 2014 and initially took over the management of the "Aerospace Structures" department. He studied mechanical engineering, specialising in aerospace at RWTH Aachen and acquired his PhD in the field of high-speed forming technology using liquid shockwaves.

Our new department head can look back on extensive experiences in the management of development teams in engine construction. He has successfully proven his project management expertise in the aviation and energy sectors in the context of international cooperation projects involving large European companies. In various management positions with corporate responsibility, he was employed by MTU Aero Engines, Atena Engineering and most recently at Assystem GmbH.
