Certifications and accreditations

The Space Division's integrated management system meets all relevant requirements with regard to quality management, environmental management, occupational safety as well as the management of foreign trade, customs and export affairs. Both legal, institutional and industrial standards are considered and implemented in the interest of our customers.

The certifications specified hereinafter also formally prove the high quality of our space centre:

  • ECSS-Q-ST-20-07C (European Space QM standard)
  • DIN EN 9100 (QM standard of the aviation, space and defence industry), includes certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001
  • DIN EN ISO 14001 (environmental management)
  • AEO-F (certified as “authorised economic operator” by the responsible general customs office Munich)
  • Regulated representative by the Federal Office of Civil Aeronautics (LBA)

Beyond that individual test and calibration laboratories of the space division are accredited to meet additional customer requirements in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:

  • Testing Lab for Qualification Tests (PLQ) , comprising Testing Lab for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Testing Lab for Vibration and Shock Tests (VUS)
  • Calibration laboratory for mechanical quantities (vibration and shock sensors)
