In light of rising regulatory demands, the long-term operation of nuclear facilities, and the transformation of the energy sector, qualification remains a key prerequisite for ensuring safety, reliability, and sustained performance in nuclear infrastructure.
This forum brings together key stakeholders from across the nuclear sector − including suppliers, service providers, engineering firms, and nuclear power plant operators - to foster an open dialogue on qualification processes, technical standards, and best practices. The programme features technical presentations, case studies, and discussion sessions addressing both current challenges and future developments in the field.
Beyond the technical discourse, the event offers valuable networking opportunities across industry boundaries. Whether you work on the qualification of mechanical, electrical, or I&C components – or on the operational or regulatory side – this forum provides a unique platform to exchange experiences, gain insights, and strengthen partnerships.

Exclusive Lab Tour
A special highlight of the event is the guided tour through IABG’s state-of-the-art testing infrastructure. Participants will gain exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into our environmental simulation facilities, including a variety of climate chambers and thermal testing systems. The tour also includes our space test center, equipped with high-capacity electrodynamic shakers of up to 500 kN, and our seismic qualification facilities for components weighing up to 14 tonnes. Experience firsthand how demanding qualification procedures are carried-out for safety-critical systems – from nuclear technology to aerospace and beyond.
