IABG and dSPACE cooperate: Power HIL test benches and test centers industry-specific and turnkey from a single source

In addition to extensive software protection, the protection of power electronic assemblies also requires tests with full electrical power, for example on power HIL test benches. Due to the extreme thermal conditions, it is usually necessary to connect additional infrastructure components such as climatic chambers and cooling generators to the test benches. In addition, the diverse requirements of different industrial sectors make the planning and implementation of Power HIL test benches and test centers increasingly complex.

To meet these challenges, dSPACE and the technology company IABG are intensifying their cooperation in the planning and implementation of customer-specific test systems and test centers - especially in the integration of Power HIL test benches. Together, the two companies will in future offer their customers turnkey solutions from a single source - from building planning to the provision and integration of hardware and software through to commissioning.

IABG contributes its expertise as a general contractor for test centers and its many years of experience in the field of technical planning of test benches and special test facilities in the automotive, energy and environmental technology, aerospace and defense technology sectors to the cooperation. dSPACE completes the offer with decades of HIL experience and established Power HIL test systems as ready-to-use solutions for testing and validation of power electronic assemblies at full power.
