A pioneering step towards Germany's digital sovereignty: The National Secure Cloud (NSC) and the VS workstation set new standards in IT security

IABG presents the National Secure Cloud at OMNISECURE 2025

Ottobrunn, January 14, 2025 - Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (IABG) is presenting the National Secure Cloud (NSC) to the public for the first time. Developed specifically for public authorities, the military and regulated industries with the highest IT security requirements, the company is presenting a pioneering solution for highly secure digital transfer and handling of secret and classified information.

Meeting highest security standards - made in Germany

The National Secure Cloud meets the strict requirements of the classified information directive and enables the secure processing of data up to the classification “SECRET” and “NATO SECRET”. The innovative separation of security domains realizes different levels of protection on a single hardware platform without compromising on cost efficiency and scalability. With their modular design, the NSC and VS workstation can be easily adapted to individual requirements and seamlessly integrated into existing HW/SW infrastructures. The use of European open source technologies and the storage of data exclusively in German data centers guarantees complete independence from proprietary systems.

The VS workstation - secure and seamlessly integrated

The VS workstation is designed as a highly secure and scalable working environment that can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT infrastructures. It enables the processing of classified information with maximum security and user-friendliness.

Strong partnership for Germany's digital sovereignty

The development of the NSC is the result of a close partnership between IABG and the leading German companies Kernkonzept, Infodas, Utimaco and Xelera Technologies. Together, they have created an innovative and pioneering solution that not only meets the highest IT security standards, but also fulfills Germany's claim to digital sovereignty.

Presentation at OMNISECURE 2025

The National Secure Cloud will be presented to an international audience of experts at OMNISECURE (January 20-22, 2025 in Berlin). At the joint stand, visitors can find out more about the technology and its potential applications and talk to the team of experts.
