High Risk Testing

At IABG in Lichtenau, we carry out impact tests to improve the mechanical properties of components and structures for our customers in the aerospace, rail and automotive sectors.

With our facilities for drop- and crash tests, we enable development testing, functional testing and qualification of components and overall systems with focus on aeronautics and nuclear technology.

From the extraction of H2 and storage in suitable tanks to the use of hydrogen in fuel cells - we qualify entire systems and individual components for their safe use. 

We carry out misuse and safety tests on HV and LV battery storage systems and thus contribute to the development of safe systems. 

Our portfolio includes a variety of burst, drop, explosion, and fire tests to assess the structural integrity of components and systems. In this way, we contribute to the safe development of your systems.

We test and qualify ballistic and blast-resistant materials up to fully protected vehicles and infrastructures and thereby contribute to the safety of your products.
