We specialise in research and technology studies on behalf of public clients and develop innovative methods and procedures for testing and analysing the performance of protection concepts. With sound advice and many years of expertise, we offer advanced solutions for complex technical challenges in the field of protection and survivability. As a reliable partner of the German Armed Forces and international procurement authorities, we support you in meeting the highest requirements and realizing future-proof concepts. We provide our findings from basic studies in the field of protection and survivability as expertise for projects for the public client. In this way, we ensure the maintenance and development of an independent analysis and evaluation capability for units and cross-sectional departments of the Armed Forces and its procurement organisation.
The neutral and manufacturer-independent evaluation of concepts for protection and survivability is ensured by using 3D vehicle models and methods such as GeFaMoS and UniVeMo.
We use the GeFaMoS method to simulate the protection level of current and future vehicles. In addition, we develop and support the Universal Vulnerability Model (UniVeMo) on behalf of the German Armed Forces (BAAINBw). As a national standard, UniVeMo enables the detailed analysis of the entire conventional weapons spectrum of the Armed Forces with regard to the future, broadband target spectrum. The corresponding values of the systems are stored in a database. The results obtained can be used to identify and initiate development and optimisation steps.

Together with our customers, we derive the evaluation criteria for the technologies and platforms to be tested. This compilation forms the basis for the development of a test methodology to validate the defined acceptance criteria.
