Cooperation Agreement between IABG and SSF Ingenieure AG

Added value through cooperation in test bench planning and construction

Thomas Götzinger (SSF Ingenieure AG) and Johannes Heine (IABG) signing the cooperation agreement.

The test and development service provider IABG mbH, headquartered in Ottobrunn near Munich, and the engineering company SSF Ingenieure AG, headquartered in Munich, have signed an agreement to cooperate in the field of test bench planning. In the future, SSF Ingenieure will design test bench facilities together with IABG and realise the necessary building structures. 

All individual, building-specific requirements can thus be implemented in a tailor-made manner: complex formwork geometries, high loads, the most stringent requirements in terms of structural dynamics and deflection criteria, collision-free integration of all built-in components and the complete equipment-related inner workings – in each case adapted to the specific conditions, whether multi-storey hybrid buildings or wide-span hall structures. With in-house experts for fire protection, cost and schedule planning, SSF Ingenieure offers the entire planning chain from a single source. In addition, SSF Ingenieure can access efficient in-house solutions for difficult construction ground or high groundwater levels through the engineering geology experts of Baugeologisches Institut Bauer, which is part of the SSF Group. In order to be able to achieve excellent solutions for complex and multiple issues in planning, SSF Ingenieure relies on a fully integrative project implementation with the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method.

IABG contributes its many years of experience in the field of technical planning for test benches and special test rigs. From the initial idea to the turnkey handover, an interdisciplinary team of experts accompanies, plans, coordinates and controls the customers' projects. Individual consulting and studies provide a sound basis for decision-making. This is a basic requirement for the planning of testing facilities and centres. In addition, project support that is in line with planning costs makes a significant contribution to customer satisfaction.

With the cooperation venture, IABG and SSF Ingenieure AG bundle their services and competences and become an even stronger partner for clients. The efficient cooperation offers clear advantages: coordinated test benches that are integrated into the building can be realised faster, more cost-efficiently and on schedule, and can be modified more easily at a later date. This facilitates a yet faster response to new user requirements. In future, test bench constructions can be implemented even more flexibly thanks to the right planning methods in combination with a modular design.
