Fire and flammability testing
IABG realises fire and flammability tests according to international (e.g. Bonfire Test according to EC 79/R134, DIN 45545, IEC 60695, Fire Resistance, Fire Proof or Flammability according to RTCA/DO-160G) or customer specific standards.

Fire tests are executed by firing test specimens (e.g. hydrogen, helium or nitrogen tanks) locally or globally. It is possible to adjust the temperature gradation freely. In addition to firing, test specimens can be pressurised with different mediums.
All tests are accompanied by complete instrumentation with temperature and pressure sensors or strain gauges as well as high-speed videos and thermal imaging cameras.
